An operation was carried out against suspects identified as conducting activities linked to ISIS and spreading the group’s propaganda via social media in Istanbul. Thirteen people were taken into custody during the operation, which was carried out by teams from the Counter-Terrorism and Intelligence Units under the coordination of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office. During searches of the addresses, a large number of digital materials, including cell phones, computers, and USB drives, were seized. It was noted that the investigation is being conducted in connection with the clash in Yalova in which three police officers lost their lives.
