Ministry of the Interior announced investigations have started against 256 people within the last week (June 18-25) due to their social media posts. These investigations were opened following examinations on 346 social media accounts; the users were charged with ‘making illegal organization propaganda,’ ‘insulting government authorities,’ ‘incitement to resentment, hatred and hostility’ and ‘intending against the indivisible integrity of state.’
