The METU Rectorate has launched an investigation into the incidents that occurred during the Spring Festival. During the İlkay Akkaya concert, a group of students unfurled a Turkish flag, made the “gray wolf” gesture, and chanted slogans. This was followed by a scuffle between students with right-wing and left-wing views. The Rectorate announced that disciplinary action would be taken against those involved in the violent incidents.
