The Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation into people who recorded video and audio at a hearing in the İBB case at the Marmara Penal Institutions Campus and shared the recordings on social media. Prosecutors said the recordings were made without authorization and opened an ex officio investigation under Article 286 of the Turkish Penal Code. Work was launched to identify those who recorded and shared the footage.
