24 different investigations have been opened against journalist Oktay Candemir within the last two years. Lastly, the journalist was detained due to his article published on Vanhaberdar website with the title, “I wasn’t fired, I resigned” on the resignation of Van Municipality Secretary General Mehmet Yaşar. An investigation was started against the journalist as well as seven readers who liked and commented on the news.
