Another investigation was launched against Ferit Şenyaşar, who lost 3 of his family members in 2018 in the Suruç district of Urfa, as a result of the attack of Justice and Development Party (AKP) Parliament Member İbrahim Halil Yıldız’s bodyguards and relatives, and who has been performing a sit-in protest in front of the Urfa Courthouse for more than 200 days for justice. Şenyaşar is accused of “insulting the President” for saying, “They are afraid of the Palace” during an interview.
