An investigation was started against Marmara University faculty member Bülend Nami Nomer based on a question he asked on a final exam in economics. The question asked, “You want to buy shoes but they are very expensive, what does that mean?” and the answer options included “Ask Tayyip.” It is expressed that the university administration has requested the faculty member’s resignation and he will be dismissed otherwise.
