An investigation was opened against Menemen Mayor Serdar Aksoy due to “making terrorist organization propaganda” through the speech he gave at the Republican People’s Party (CHP) Menemen District Congress, which was organized in January. “Terrorist organizations” that were claimed to have benefited the propaganda of Aksoy were listed in the investigation as THKP-C, Devrimci Yol, Devrimci Gençlik, MLKP, MKP, HKO, TKP/ML, TİKKO, KP/İÖ.
