Police intervened against students who are members of the Student Collective who wanted to march to Parliament demanding that KYK scholarships be equal to half the minimum wage. Students from different provinces who came to Ankara gathered on Konur Street to deliver 20,000 signatures to members of parliament. Police prevented the march from continuing from Sakarya Street to the Parliament. During the intervention, some students were affected by pepper spray, and 10 students, including one under the age of 18, were detained.
