Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu targeted Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu and signalled that he might be dismissed, after İmamoğlu came together with elected mayors in Diyarbakır, who were replaced with trustees. The Minister threatened İmamoğlu and said, “Ignorant! Know your place! We would make you a ragged man if you’re concerned with other business than your work.”
