An indictment was prepared against seven Contemporary Lawyers Association (ÇHD) lawyers, protesting in Beşiktaş last February to point out the situation of their arrested colleagues, with charges of “resisting to prevent duty” and “not dispersing despite warning after unarmed participation in illegal meeting and demonstration.” Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office sent the indictment, prepared against lawyers Ayşegül Çağatay, Barzan Demirhan, Canan Gözcü, Gökmen Yeşil, Oğuzhan Topalkara, Seda Şaraldı ve Yaprak Türkmen, to Istanbul Criminal Court of First Instance.
