Lawyer Ruşen Seydaoğlu was sentenced to 6 years and 3 months in prison in the lawsuit filed against her at the Diyarbakır 8th Assize Court on the charge of “terrorist organization membership” due to their Democratic Society Congress activities and social media posts. The court further sentenced Seydaoğlu to 1 year and 3 months in prison on the charge of “making propaganda for a terrorist organization” and deferred the announcement of the verdict.
