The 2019 Strategy Conference and General Meeting of IFEX, a roof network for more than 100 organizations of freedom of expression and press freedom worldwide, was held in Berlin on April 8-10th. Three IFEX members in Turkey; Bianet, the Initiative for Freedom of Expression and P24, also attended the meeting. Local and global issues of freedom of expression were shared and suggestions were debated in the meeting. Journalist Can Dündar was also among the guests of the conference. A solidarity demonstration was made with photographs of Şebnem Korur Fincancı, Erol Önderoğlu and Ahmet Nesin, who are on trial due to participating in the Substitute Editing-In-Chief campaign for Özgür Gündem Daily, on the last day of the General Meeting with the initiation of International Press Institute.
