Human Rights Association (IHD) Van Branch announced that they have identified 1,657 rights violations in 2019. Branch Chairman Murat Melet and Central Executive Council member Kasım Kalkan shared the data on the violations with press organisations. The data includes six cases of freedom of expression and thought violation as well as ongoing bans against meetings and demonstrations since November 21, 2016.
