On June 10, the Tarsus 3rd High Criminal Court sentenced former Tarsus Mayor Haluk Bozdoğan and two other defendants to separate prison terms of 60 years, 7 months, and 15 days each for aggravated fraud. The court issued arrest warrants for the defendants. Following the ruling, Bozdoğan turned himself in to the prosecutor’s office and was sent to prison.
