As part of the investigation into GAİN Media and its affiliated companies, the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) was appointed as receiver and three individuals were detained. The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office based its investigation, which was launched on allegations of “forming an organization for the purpose of committing crimes,” “illegal betting,” and “laundering of criminal proceeds,” on reports from the Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Investigation Board (MASAK). Gendarmerie teams conducted searches at company headquarters and announced that they had identified high-value and unexplained money transfers. Numerous companies were seized as part of the investigation.
