First target of hate speech “Syrians”
Hrant Dink Foundation launched the “Hate Speech in the Media Report” for May-August 2019. The report is compiled from monitoring data, both national and local.
The report indicated that the first target of hate speech by media institutions in the related period was Syrian refugees. It is seen that the political agenda of the country is directly influencing hate speech practices.
