The first hearing of the lawsuit filed against three rights advocates, who were detained in Cihangir during the 2021 Istanbul Pride Parade, was held at Istanbul 14th Criminal Court of First Instance on the charge of “violating the Law on Meetings and Demonstrations No. 2911.” The court decided that the criminal elements on the charge imposed on the defendants were not constituted, issuing the acquittal of all defendants.
