Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that 71 people were detained in a FETÖ operation conducted this morning in 27 provinces centered in Istanbul. Yerlikaya stated that the operations were carried out in coordination with the Istanbul Police Department and the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office. It was determined that the suspects arrested in provinces including Adana, Ankara, Izmir, Konya, Gaziantep, and Bursa were members of FETÖ, worked for companies affiliated with the organization, used secret communication methods, and carried out activities at a responsible level in the security structure.
