Erzurum Regional Administrative Court found the suspension of HDP member of Tatvan Municipality Assembly Ahmet Sağnıç on terrorism charges unlawful. The court annulled the Interior Ministry’s decision on the grounds that the charges were not related to his duties. The ruling could set a precedent for similar cases such as the imprisoned Şişli Mayor Resul Emrah Şahan.
