The “Youth Summer Camp” to be organized on July 19-20-21, 2019 by Libertarian Youth Association was banned by Seferihisar District Governorate. The association reacted against the ban with a press statement, indicating that the owner of the location where the camp was organised was further threatened by the security organisation. Evaluating the process, Izmir Bar Association Chairman Özkan Yücel indicated that the young people’s rights to freedom of travel and freedom of expression were violated.
