Dilek İmamoğlu’s passport has been revoked.

Following the summons of Ekrem İmamoğlu’s father, Hasan İmamoğlu, and his son, Selim İmamoğlu, to testify in an ongoing corruption investigation, it was learned that İmamoğlu’s wife, Dilek İmamoğlu, had her diplomatic passport revoked. CHP Chairman Özgür Özel stated that Dilek İmamoğlu had planned to travel abroad to receive an award given to Ekrem İmamoğlu, but was warned that her passport would be revoked. Özel reacted to the decision, saying, “Ekrem İmamoğlu is the elected Mayor of Istanbul. Has he been convicted of any crime?”
