The Tekirdağ Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office launched an ex officio investigation into Bozova public prosecutor Türkşad Kunthan Uçuk for “insulting a public official” and ordered his detention. The Second Chamber of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors had temporarily suspended Uçuk from duty for three months as part of judicial and administrative investigations against him.
