Labour Party (EMEP) Kocaeli Provincial Secretary Adem Korkmaz was detained after announcing the salary increase of President Erdoğan by 6,750 TL with a poster he prepared in Derince district of Kocaeli. The poster wrote, “6,750 TL salary increase for the President, who can barely sustain himself! His 2020 salary is 81,250 TL. You see it, there’s no need for explanation.” Korkmaz was released after testifying.
