M.A.D., who lives in Germany, was detained at his family’s house in Antalya for attending Grup Yorum’s concert in Frankfurt on May 4. TEM teams identified him from concert photos on social media. The concert ticket found at home was considered as evidence of a crime. M.A.D. was released after his statement. The detention was met with public outcry in terms of freedom of expression and civil rights.
