Demirhan Gözaçan, an advisor to Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Besim Dutlulu, has been arrested. Gözaçan had been taken into custody as part of an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office. Mayor Dutlulu reacted to the decision by issuing a statement in support of Gözaçan.
