DEM Party Urfa Provincial Manager Hüseyin Aslan was summoned for questioning on the grounds that he participated in the Kobanê march held in Pirsus on January 8, 2026. The prosecutor’s office referred Aslan to the Criminal Court of Peace on charges of “resisting to prevent the performance of duty.” On February 17, 2026, the court arrested Aslan and sent him to Urfa T-Type Closed Prison.
