Mitanti Cultural Center, which had been under trustee administration for 9 years in Mardin’s Nusaybin district, was transferred to YİKOB before the March 31, 2024 elections. The DEM Party municipality administration, which took office after the elections, filed a lawsuit against the transfer of the cultural center. The court ruled that the center be returned to the municipality. DEM Party Mardin MP Saliha Aydeniz announced the decision on her social media account.
