The Constitutional Court ruled, following an application by the CHP, that the name of the Cumhuriyetçi Milletin Partisi (CMP) did not create confusion with the CHP. However, citing the similarity between the two parties’ emblems, the court declared the CMP’s emblem void and ordered it removed from the political party register.
