The Constitutional Court requested an opinion from the Ministry of Justice Directorate of Human Rights Chamber on the application of Aydın Aydoğan, who was beaten, shot with rubber bullets and broke his arm during the police attack against the 700th gathering of the Saturday Mothers. The Ministry claimed that what Aydoğan had faced during the police attack was based on rightful reasons and that it was a proportionate intervention. The Ministry further claimed that the Saturday Mothers protest was unlawful and that the police intervention was in accordance with the law.
