The Constitutional Court (AYM) decided that the administrative fine issued against Education and Science Workers’ Union (Eğitim-Sen) member Selma Elma by Antalya Governorate due to her participation in the protest against State of Emergency dismissals, was a right violation. The High Court decided that the right to organise meetings and demonstrations, protected by Article 34 of the Turkish Constitution, was violated.
