Police intervened when the Socialist Solidarity Platform distributed leaflets demanding an increase in the minimum wage in Şirinevler Square; two people were detained. SODAP stated that the attack was political pressure aimed at perpetuating the impoverishment of workers and announced that they would continue their struggle.
