CHP Deputy Chairman Deniz Yavuzyılmaz shared with the public the documents regarding the decision of the International Court of Arbitration penalizing Turkey. Yavuzyılmaz announced that Turkey was fined for oil shipments made between 2014 and 2023 with the Kurdish Regional Government without the approval of the Iraqi Central Government. The Communications Directorate also confirmed this punishment, stating that the ICC Arbitral Tribunal sentenced both Iraq and Turkey to compensation and that Turkey has filed an annulment case against this decision in Paris.
