The CHP applied to the Constitutional Court for the stay of execution and annulment of the amendments to Law No. 7547 and Decree Law No. 375. Group Deputy Chairman Gökhan Günaydın stated that the application is based on the unconstitutionality claims regarding Decree Law No. 703, which was previously annulled by the Constitutional Court. The CHP argued that the supervisory powers given to public officials, the ban on trade unions and the recruitment of personnel through oral exams are unconstitutional. Günaydın also announced that some regulations regarding the Climate Law and the 10th Judicial Package will be taken to the Constitutional Court.
