Batman 1st Criminal Judicature of Peace banned the book written by Cumhuriyet reporter Akın Bodur, entitled, “Four Executions, One Witness in the Darkness of September 12” due to ‘illegal organization propaganda.’
The book tells the story of four young people, who were executed by Adana Military Commissions during the September 12 period, with the witness testimony of a martial officer, execution documents and letters. The ban on the distribution and sale of the book was revealed to have been issued in April 2017, whereas the writer and the publisher were not notified. Bodur objected to the decision through his lawyer, Gökhan Küçük.
