An indictment was prepared against seven people, four of whom are arrested, due to “violating the Law on Meetings and Demonstrations No. 2911” after they have participated in the protest organised in Kadıköy on February 2 against the appointment of Justice and Development Party (AKP) member Melih Bulu as rector for Boğaziçi University. The indictment was sent to Istanbul Anatolian 35th Criminal Court of First Instance and the suspects were claimed to be sentenced to imprisonment.
