Following a decision signed by President Erdoğan, Istanbul Bilgi University’s operating license was revoked on May 22. The decision was made under the Higher Education Law following the appointment of a trustee to the university’s founding foundation. The university’s students and archives will be transferred to Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts. The employment contracts of academic and administrative staff will be terminated.
