Samet Bağcı, Deputy Chairman for Legal Affairs of the Grand Unity Party (BBP), announced that they filed a criminal complaint with the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office for “obscenity” due to Mabel Matiz’s song “Perperişan”. Bağcı argued that the song is harmful for children and young people and threatens the family structure. Previously, the Ministry of Family and Social Services and the Ministry of Interior had made similar initiatives about the song.
