The Ankara Governor’s Office announced a series of measures across the city from July 6 to 12 in connection with the NATO Summit of Heads of State and Government, scheduled for July 7–8. The Governor’s Office has placed the majority of public sector employees in nine districts on administrative leave and suspended exams, panels, concerts, festivals, and similar public events. The Governor’s Office has also banned demonstrations and events in the summit areas and along designated routes.
