The Human Rights Association held a press conference in front of the juvenile detention center in Hatay on April 18. The association stated that a child born in 2008 who suffers from mental illness was unable to access healthcare services and that his right to life was being violated. Officials noted that the child was unable to access medication and treatment, that his suicide attempts had not been reported, and demanded that he be immediately transferred to a hospital.
