The Constitutional Court (AYM) indicated that the access ban brought on the entire website of Yüksekova Daily News is a violation of press freedom and freedom of expression. Yüksekova Daily News had been banned by the Telecommunications Communication Authority on August 20, 2015 together with 13 website URLs following the request of Prime Ministry General Directorate of Security Affairs. The decision was later approved by Ankara Gölbaşı 1st Criminal Judicature of Peace.
