At least 381 curfews declared in five years

The Human Rights Foundation of Turkey (TIHV) shared data on curfews. At least 381 curfews were declared, which could officially be identified in 11 provinces and at least 51 districts in total between the dates August 16, 2015 and January 1, 2019. According to data by TIHV, Diyarbakır broke a record in curfews in Turkish history, in this form (indefinitely and/or predicting full-day curfews). 214 curfews in total were declared in Diyarbakır, 60 in Mardin, 23 in Hakkari, 13 in Şırnak, 29 in Bitlis, 7 in Muş, 7 in Bingöl, 6 in Tunceli, 6 in Batman, 2 in Elazığ and 14 in Siirt.
