In the Halfeti district of Şanlıurfa, journalist Hüseyin Bozkurt was attacked on June 15 by a group of about 20 people because of a news story he had reported. The attackers first damaged Bozkurt’s vehicle, then followed it and opened fire. Bozkurt and the three people with him escaped the attack unharmed and filed a complaint against the attackers.
