An 18.5-year-old youth detained on drug charges in Kadıköy, Istanbul, claimed that he was beaten and tortured by police officers at the police station. While the forensic medical report stated that it contained findings supporting the allegations, the Istanbul Anatolia Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation into the incident.
