DEM Party Ağrı Deputy Heval Bozdağ brought to the Parliament’s attention on March 25, 2026, that inmates at Patnos L-Type Prison were being denied access to clean water and healthcare services. Bozdağ stated that inmates were being provided with unsanitary water and that their daily right to clean water was not being upheld. He also stated that infirmary services were not functioning and that hospital transfers were not being arranged. Bozdağ submitted a parliamentary question to investigate the allegations.
