A social media user, who criticised the statement of Anadolu Agency (AA) on the initial results of the Presidential elections on June 24, 2018, was acquitted in the first hearing of the lawsuit filed against him. The agency received heavy criticism due to its results and opposition party results didn’t match one another; with a lawsuit filed against O.P. at Istanbul 33rd Criminal Court of First Instance after his Twitter post that said AA is like a “terrorist organisation.”
