The Cyber Security Presidency blocked access to Thailand-based online literature platform ReadAWrite with a decision dated 23 September. The platform, where users could publish novels, stories, fan fiction, comics and chat-format works, featured LGBTİ+ content as well as romance, fantasy and young adult literature. The source text did not provide details on the grounds for the decision. Access to the similar user-generated literature platform Wattpad had also been blocked in 2024.
