Despite ranking ninth in the recruitment process for teaching positions at Balıkesir University, access to news reports regarding the dismissal of MHP Çanakkale Provincial Chairman Hakan İmamoğlu, who had started work after the interview, has been blocked by court order. The Çanakkale 1st Civil Court of First Instance ruled on February 4, 2026, with decision number 2026/19, to apply an access restriction as a precautionary measure in accordance with Articles 24 and 25 of the Turkish Civil Code. It was reported that the decision covered news reports about İmamoğlu’s dismissal from his position by court order.
