The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office blocked access to 92 X accounts that posted on social media after the school attack in Manisa’s Turgutlu district as part of an investigation into “publicly disseminating misleading information.” A review coordinated by the Directorate of Communications said the accounts had made provocative posts. Eleven students were injured in an attack carried out with a shotgun near İnci Üzmez Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in Turgutlu on the morning of 22 September. Police apprehended and detained H.O., a ninth-grade student at the same school, as the suspect in the attack.
