The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office announced that access-block decisions had been issued for 419 social media accounts and links on the grounds that they contained “obscenity.” İfade Özgürlüğü Derneği reported that the blocked accounts included those of journalists İrfan Değirmenci and Şirin Payzın, soL Haber, the Federation of Women’s Associations of Türkiye, the Women’s Coalition, the Socialist Party of the Oppressed and various political and social organizations.
